“The Reality of Putting” with Steve Elkington

Hi, as golf instruction lessons go this one is a real gem. I got “The Reality of Putting”just before Christmas 2010 and really love it. I’ve had a few other golfers take a look at it and it seems to bee unanimous that everyone enjoys the easy methodology it presents. Steve Elkington went from 157th in putting on the PGA Tour from 3-5 feet in 2009 to 2nd in 2010. You don’t just jump over the rankings of 155 of the best players in the world without doing something pretty special. He did it by learning and using these techniques from Geoff Mangum.
Together Steve Elkington and Geoff Mangum present “The Reality of Putting” in a very high quality video presentation along with a guide featuring “The four skills of Putting”. This one is pure class; likely because Elkington is one of the smoothest players out there. When I looked at the 60 or so products that we reviewed for the 2011/2012 golf season there were about 6 that were specifically about putting and this one is hands down the best and most professional golf instruction program in the putting category. (Actually I don’t think I even have another putting program in the recommended list.) The strength of this instructional video is really the simple and descriptive ways it teaches proper setup, alignment and how your eyes actually see “the line” and how you can easily take advantage of these methods to ensure you always hit the putt where you are aiming.
Definitely a must have for any golfer of any age that is looking to improve their putting and scoring! The other thing I really like is the way they are marketing it-there’s no attempts to deceive or trick people-the program is $35 and no phony “exit” offers or anything.
